  • The most convenient way to apply for an EEV (also referred to as the Electronic Entry Visa of St. Kitts and Nevis) is via the country’s eVisa system.
  • When applying for an eVisa, you can choose to issue either a single-entry or multiple-entry tourist visa. A single-entry visa enables its holders to stay in St. Kitts and Nevis for up to 30 days. Holders of a multiple-entry visa can visit the country as many times as they wish within a period of up to 90 days from the date their visa was issued.
  • Nationals not requiring a tourist visa for the country can visit St. Kitts & Nevis only for short days. These nationals can enter the country by simply showing a valid passport, as long as it is issued by an eligible country.
  • The eVisa (tourist visa) can be used to enter the country exclusively for a form of recreation, such as sports events, cultural events, leisure, and tourism. For business purposes, you will have to get a Business Visa.

To apply for a Saint Kitts and Nevis eVisa, travellers need to fulfill the following requirements:

  • They must have a passport that is valid for at least 180 days from the end of their trip to Saint Kitts & Nevis.
  • They must provide a passport-style photograph.
  • They have to submit a valid email address to receive their eVisa.
  • They need to possess and show either an onward or return ticket.
  • They need to be able to demonstrate proof of sufficient funds to cover their costs during their stay in the country.

All the required documents should be uploaded as scans (digital copies) as part of their eVisa application. All eVisa applications come with a processing fee, which varies depending on which country you come from (either residence or citizenship). As for the accepted payment methods, travellers can pay with a debit or credit card. Once your visa application is approved, you will receive it in the email address you have provided in your application. Kindly ensure you print out a copy of your eVisa so you can present it to the immigration officer when you arrive in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Please note:

  • Travellers coming from countries that normally need a visa to visit the country are exempt from the visa requirements if their stay does not exceed 24 hours.
  • It is strongly advised to apply for your eVisa or visa at least one month in advance, or even better two months before you travel to Saint Kitts and Nevis, as processing times vary.
  • To have your eVisa issued, you will need to send your actual passport (not a copy) over to the agency that will get it done for you. As soon as your application is approved, your passport will be stamped and your Saint Kitts and Nevis visa will become one with your passport. This is why it is paramount to send your original passport.
